# Statistics

### Wind Resource Grid

The Wind Resource Grid (WRG) is a spatial, statistical representation of the wind resource in a specified area, including Weibull and Wind Rose parameters. We provide WRG for interoperability of our results and their format with existing software solutions like WindPro, OpenWind and WindFarm.

The WRGs provided with Whiffle Wind Statistics are created from a 180-day LES simulation, following Whiffle's [long-term-representative day selection method](/advanced-topics/long-term-representativeness.md) in pre-processing. This means they are long-term representative but not calibrated w\.r.t. to measurements.

After the simulation has completed a zip with the WRGs can be downloaded from the application.

### Calibrated Wind Resource Grid

When measurements are attached on the Site step, a calibrated WRG for each height will be available for download. For more information on calibration, see:

### Virtual Met Mast

When virtual met masts are included in the simulation setup, output heights can be specified at the output step. Analytics page plots, such as wind roses, will reflect data at these heights.

### Long-term-corrected results

In case you added one or more Turbines to your simulation, the turbine-level Energy Production will be calculated in the LES and [long-term corrected](/advanced-topics/long-term-representativeness.md) in post-processing.

After the simulation has completed the long-term-corrected Annual Energy Production can be viewed in the Performance Table in the application, or downloaded as CSV.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.whiffle.cloud/outputs/statistics.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
