# Missing ERA5 data

In the meso domain, Whiffle utilizes ERA5 historical weather data, which is readily available for areas within the supported regions delineated by the yellow line on the map. You have the option to run a simulation from January 1, 2000, up to ten days ago. Presently, the maximum duration for a simulation run is one year.

Should you desire to conduct a simulation *outside* the supported regions, we encourage you to submit a special request. Our team is dedicated to helping you customize our services to suit your unique requirements. Feel free to contact us, and we will diligently work to accommodate your needs effectively.

**Troubleshooting**

* Position turbines and metmasts within the delineated *Supported regions* marked by the yellow border on the map so meso domain is contained by it.
